Niue Constitution Independence Day 2012

OMG: Niuean proudly celebrated their Niue Constitution Day through out the globe with a Niuean flavour of course and in Perth, Western Australia a strong Niuean number gathered on a massive Whiteman Park to share in the cultural atmosphere.

Niue Perth Community board of trustee hosted the celebrations at a massive Whiteman Park, Perth perfectly suitable for such occasions. Niuean families and friends along with their Australian families mingled around, played some familia games, tug of war, sack race, leg races, skipping rope and sekeka, boasted by a shared lunch.
Children's tug of war had a monetary prize for the winner and $100 was shared among the 7 champions, with two bottles of ale for the parents. 

Danny Lakatani, Sita Heti, Folio Konelio and Pepe Liutose with supporting crew opened the celebrations with a Blessing, the respect of the Niue National Anthem, acknowledgeable and a Lilly Lakamu Afford singing one of Niue's favourite "Tau Fuata Niue" along with dancers to the beat. 

Niuean's in Western Australia combine efforts making sure the occasion flows with a relaxed display of a close community. The shared lunch show case some cultural delicacy's, takihi loku, fai kai, punu polo, kapia pitako, and watered down with natural carrot juice, water and plenty of fizz choices for the kids. 

Last year Niue Constitution Celebrations, the Tug Rope broke in two, suggesting Niuean Power in Perth ramping, and 2012 rope has doubled up. The children tug of war, rewarded with a cash prize for the 7 winner, splitting the taking and a few ales for the parents.

Sack race with some niu invention to the word win, with one leg in the sack and one leg for the winning edge outside the sack. Along with the 3 legged race, a good combination of the theme won over maturity and experience. The sekeka race dominated by the old masters Suzi, sprinting to the finish line on one sekeka. 

                                                

Certainly a memorable day indeed for the Niuean Perth Community celebrating their freedom, with many who have travelled afar for the day. 

Steve and Jenny Miliona from Alofi, who resides south of Perth, along with Leon Puletaha from Mutalau, who is getting married in March to his lovely gal, stood by in awe.

Whiteman Park a few minutes north from central Perth provided an amazing ground, with many spectacular home ground events, such as an auto mobile museum, a kids swimming pool, with a bird life avery, and plentiful grounds for group activities, and a tram ride around the whole grounds.  

Relaxed, and bonding comes naturally for the community, and later in the day reminiscing to the familiar  sounds of ukelele of Danny Lakatani and bois. 

Marina Tutavaha McCommick (left) a strong supporter for the Niuean Community with four children, lives 1an half away from Perth makes regular trips to Perth to visit brother George, Charles, David and sister Jenny and Lilly. 

Patrica Sietu from Mutalau advertises proudly "Pulemotu Niue" bought her husband and children along with the husbands and dad, enjoying the day to be associated with some familiar sounds and activities.

Jean Siumaka one really happy Niuean, with a certain flare captured the occasion with her digital cam, accompany by her daughter and grands. 

Niuean Perth Community inspiring commitment supported by Niuean Perth Lifestyle combine spirit ensuring the celebration ear marks the special occasion. 

Proudly and globally Niuean's will be thriving in their special day, with a brighter future all ready a demanding success to continue.

Introduction of  a Niue Language Classes also opened on the day, and expected high numbers of interest, floods in.

Niue Perth 38th Constitution Celebrations 2012, concludes with a Prayer of Thanks as the community filters away, with a feel of saying good bye to a loved one on a Tofua, heading for the distance blessed land.

Miss World Niue 2005

Miss World Niue 2005 

Zaani a young lady with a massive passion for Life and still attending Auckland Seventh Day High School (ASDAH) when she won a Niuean Champion title Miss Niue 2005. Miss Photogenic part of Zaani's winning package won during the South Auckland Beauty Pageant.

Proud parents Steven and Lilly said, Zaani a lovely child, strong and very very confident, with a lot of love.

The young beauty queen have completed and graduated in Management in Tourism, with 1st Stage in Business Study. 

The young beauty queen spent a week in Otorohanga as part of her commitment to the title, staying at a local Maori Pa, along with other Beauty Queens from other Pageants around the country. One of the main issue of the Otorohanga retreat is to bond with the cultural elements of duty.

Proud parents Lilly and Steven, Zaani their youngest of the two children, delighted of the result.

What a precious moment.

Miss World Niue, have developed a career path and have successfully studied subjects to spear head her future, with a strong ethics in family. The young beauty queen also took part in the community based  services to care for her grand parents, which saw her having a paid trip to Perth as a personal care giver. Zaani's uncles and aunties in Perth provided the open door and the young queen took the opportunity and moved to Perth 2011.

Beauty, Grace and Niuean

Eden Deelasa Tapuosi a 22 year old of Beauty Grace and Niuean, the Miss Niue 2012. The Miss Niue Aotearoa 2012 Beauty Pageant, again show case the most beautiful girl from Niue Island and the niu beauty queen from Hakupu/Liku/Cook Island one happy and delightful young lady. Mother Teresa Tapuosi most certainly have a very rare genes providing a stunning young lady, for the loud audience at the Logan Campbell Center 7th July 2012. The Audience not only witness and enjoying cast of professional Pacific Islands Best in music, but a chance to close up chats with each contestant. 
Eden in her talent show, danced to the slow rhythmic tune's of the pacific music, and the grace of a ballerina, wow the judges and over all winner in all categories.
Regardless of the New Zealand winters chill, each of the contestants overcome the cold evening parading in lightly fashioned outfits, and mingled with the crowd without any bother. Unfortunately one other contestant pulled out on the last minute, and only three vibrant courage's young beauty queen's took to the cat walk. 
Miss Niue Eden, love to learn to speak fluent Niuean, one of the strong influence to accepting the audacious  process of Beauty Pageant's, and amazed at how well and orchestrated, young Niuean born speaks her language fluently. 
Miss Tapuosi an Oscar Programmer for the Mangere Bridge Priamary School, Auckland, still wheeling in the fact, and have not sunk in the reality of her over overwhelming result, and taking Sunday to enjoy the New Zealand winters sun to chill. 
Facebooking the little fame shy Eden, reveals some of her natural blood line from the Cook Island, encouraging the clear dominance in the judges view and final. 
The beautiful Eden had to battle the cold during the night, and still poised herself to complete the event. Courage determination and having a lot of fun, overcome any health issue. 
Asked Eden how she manage to continue, she replied, "I went back stage and had a little rest".

Sitting up the balcony were the very happy grandparents Willie and Tina Tapuosi, cheering on their young Falala Niue to take the grown of Miss Niue Aotearoa 2012.  

Mahayla Kaniatoa 19 year old in the Hospitality Industry (on the left with Mrs Niue 1992 Lilly Lakamu) 1st runner up, full of life from Lakepa. Joined the Miss Niue Pageant to enhance her quality and knowledge of her culture. Mother Elizabeth and father Naeatose, Mahayla's bubbly nature a perfect reminder  of her Niuean culture. Natural beauty and confident in her own right treasure the memories of her grand parents Piva and Rangitinia. 
Delightful Mahayla wearing a short cut blue dress mingled with the crowd with a huge smile, having fun and really enjoying the occasion. Having Fun is the 1st Runner's motivation through out the  Miss Niue Pageant, and fun Mahayla fully enjoyed with her family on the front setting to cheer her on.

Peaches Josiah Mafina Nike Peni a 17 year old, Auckland Girls Grammar School student (on the left) want to continue study at University level after school, and loves to travel. From Liku and mother Fetu Peni, the soft nature Peaches well supported by her auntie Julie to experience the Beauty Pageant, for positive reason's and having a lot of fun for the young teen. Listening to Peaches gives an accurate picture to her hunger for learning and a determine young lady and a strong emotion for life. The Pageant have provided some cultural experience needed stated the young beauty queen, with a huge smile. 
All thou only 3 contestant's were judged, the night show case the brilliance and creative hands of the organizers, with an endless flow of the Jesus Blessed red juice, with the extra flavor to relax and to lift the VIP, to their feet. The VIP lounge a high end to the success of Beauty Pageants for families and VIP to enjoy not only the evening, but to enjoy the quality of services provided. 

Beauty Pageants a vibrant format for the introduction of a massive boost of confident's for any young Niuean lady, which provides some of the most exiting moment of their lives. Young Niuean ladies who have entered and completed Beauty Pageant, in recent time have shine and indeed have highlighted qualities of personality standard's of self appreciations. 

The Miss Niue 2010 Beauty Pageant, with Lilly Lakamu still show case the light of her charm, opened the event Introducing the Host for the Nite, the amazing Malcolm Lakatani, three time Pacific Music Award nominee. Lilly sang her dad's composed song "Tau Fuata Niue" an opener to the rest of the evening with super stars, Che Fu and his Dad, and Hip Hop and RNP stunners took to the stage to marvel the audience. All Niuean showman ship at its best.

The vibrant energy of each contestant's and current Miss Niue title holders, are force of Grace and absolute beauty, worthy the glory and excellence at its best. Niuean beauty is a hidden gem, yet to be realize by the Universe, and with the Miss Niue 2012 Pageant, show case the important issues of Niuean Most Gorgeous Beauties. There is indeed a secret misty spirit caring for each contestant and listening to each one, undoubtedly be listening to an angel from heaven. I know I am not drunk from all the endless flow of the Jesus Blessed Juice, which of course poured with intended purpose to free the soul...
Certainly not wine enticed view point, and after chatting to each contestants and witnessing each one in an environment perhaps foreign, yet each one grace the opportunity humbly. Niuean Champions for see a greater demand for Pacific Island Beauty Queens, to grace the world of fashion, modelling, and catwalks is well over due. 
NC also believes the Spirit Niuean Beauty Queens have accepted will indeed be taking a stronger and positive steps on the universal arena, for the demand for the Pacific exposure in category clearly viewed by the judges. The demand for Niuean Beauty Queen on the world stage in elegance, Grace and Integrity, will be of strong domination indeed..

Proud To Be Niuean's

Captain Cook first encounter with the Niuean, continues to dominate the Statement "Savage Island" and today some Niuean may dislike the term's, but Niuean Champions have come up with a revelation to the fact.
Quite simply Niuean are an unique bunch of people, a wonder why Captain Cook could not land on the shores of Niue. All thou Cook have branded Niuean's as savages, by all means Niuean are not to Cooks observations. The Uniqueness of the Niuean people or their lack of understand to the fact, if Cook could not set foot on Niuean soil, provides Niuean a strong spiritual mana to face the new would with this realization at ease.


Niuean's living in the new world New Zealand, have to accept the fact and take advantage of their mana, in which Cook could not penetrate and stand firm on their cunning uniqueness and apply the same attitude and practices. More so, Niueans living and having access to modern education systems provides a strong foundation to capitalize on the opportunity we have in the modern world.


Should the hearts of Niueans are still back at the rock, then what the heart dwells on will draw the person to the rock. But a Niuean who takes charge of the fact, we can be like a savage's in the niu world, yet we know we are not savages, can take advantages of his blessing, and forge forward.
In the other word, Niuean who understand the fundamental issues in the modern world, have indeed broken through barriers and each day should be investing strongly in the mind set and belief towards their goal. 


Niuean Churches have lacked the words to sky rocket the Niuean's into the world of Investments and Capitalism, the dominating force providing cash follow. Cash follow needed by Churches in tithing and donation contribution, with family wealth extension the ultimate result from generation to generation.

Not being bias but has to be mentioned, the Lords Gospel first visited Mutalau, with the outstanding results with the likes of OMC ( Pauly Fuemana) and Che-Fu both from the same village. A wonderful thought indeed to be a Niuean regardless of the village where these amazing soul are taking the stage of lime light to show case Niuean Champion's.


The world clearly waits Champions, and Niuean has the perfect spirit to take each Niuean into the arena of their championship with only their commitment and endurance the only high quality tools require, to take them to the winning podium. 


Niue a  small spec in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, but the spirit which carries the Niuean People is of the highest and caliber without doubt. Given the Island has a Holy Temple in each Village testify to the Power house caring, protecting and waiting to PUT Niueans in the seat of Winners.


MUMT Gospel choir sings praise's to God, in a harmonic rhythm with the basic Niuean base, with note's worthy raising the hair of the back of our neck. Symbolic to the Niuean perhaps, and we should not shy away from the fact, but embrace the quality of this moment of being a proud Niuean.   


Leaving the foreshores of Niue with the expectations of a high quality life in New Zealand has not changed but as matter of fact have blessed Niuean's with the most Highest degree of opportunity. Taking what is available to us today and making work, in a small manner will grow to an extra ordinary proportion given time and faith in the process and procedures. 
Failure is not in the Niuean name, hence I strongly believe the sound of the word Niue name more like "New Way". Given this reference provides a pathway to my thinking and drives me to note and recognize the phenomenon taking place.

Being honored to carry a  title Mrs Niue 1992 is a privilege I still treasure, and accept the fact Niuean are natural winners, understanding my humble beginnings.  Along with the Title Mrs Niue, I am also proud to acknowledge my gorgeous daughter Zaani also had the privilege to be honored a title of Miss Niue NZ 2006.
Not to boost but to high light the importance Niueans are born under the lucky start to take advantage of their God blessed opportunities.

Mrs Afford spear head the family into a world of inheritances and Gaming Industry, a lady who loved her God, and lived her life to the last day, who loved every moment of living. A Niuean Champion not missed, for the spirit of resurrection continues to share and live out In Niuean Champions.


Niuean Champions have been suppressed in many respect, but a few have started to come out into the light, as some of the most resourceful and active members of society.  Niuean has to be some of the most blessed race on the face of the planet, given some of the current and past examples.

"Niue Ua Fa To Mui" a song rings clear in my ear, as I take Charge of what I am given on God Zone (God Defend NZ). Amazes me that Educated Niuean's have not fully understood the blessings we Niuean are given, and to take full ADVANTAGE of fact, Capitalism (make lots of money and buy luxury) Educations helps Us, understand new THINGS other then things only of Niuean nature and culture. NZ and the world have Blessed Niue with a mighty Spirit (Christ) to go forth and Conquer, any Challenges in the Global migrations of Champions. Kate Tutavaha (Shearing) and Courtenay Bernard (Beauty Contest) some of the Niu Generations of Niuean's facing the Challenges and Thriving in the Moment of their best Time's in their Lives. Niuean are natural CHAMPIONS, that ear mark of savagery noticed by Captain Cook, remains one of Niue's hidden mask, and unless Niuean takes their opportunities Today, the song "Niue Ua Fa To Mui" may still ring loudly. 
Unmasking Niuean Champions is a positive note for all Niuean's to be proud of who they are and what they have.


World War 1, 150 young Niuean men send away to battle, only to face health issues never experienced by the young Niuean in their lives, provide some clear indication the Niuean Spirit to take Challenges even thou, they have not seen nor traveled such area's of life. All thou the losses of young Niuean lives were to sickness instead of a bullet, lest not the Young Niuean Spirit die in vain, but for the niu Niuean generation to take same Challenges and Win, in all areas in respect.


Niue under the NZ and British Empire has to be one of the most well designed constitution available to Niueans of course, and for the Niueans to understand and fully embrace what we have, and take advantage of the Blessing set out for Niuean on a winning plate. Niuean migrated to NZ and taking advantage of the Industrial Age, bought homes in the high demanding properties in Grey Lynn,Ponsonby, Parnell, proving Niuean can win in the Global Challenge.

In respect to one of Niue's own International success Pauly Fuemana most certainly reflect in his Niu found establishment OMC (Otara Millionaires Club). Pauly a gifted musician from Mutalau, and the only New Zealand International artist who have conquered the American Music industry with "How Bazzare". OMC broke the barriers in the Music Industry for Niuean's to piggy back in memory of Pauly spirit, can truly be marvels in their gifts and talents in the Global Challenge.

Niueans take heart, such spirit that propelled Mr Fuemana into the lime light, freely to be embraced by us who are in today's perfect time zone to marvel the world with what God have blessed us with. Admiring who we are but excepting where we are, would be most appropriate and to take advantage of the moment and opportunity, God Defend NZ, has prepared for us as Niueans.


As a writer of this blogg, I confess to my lack of education, but that will never stop me from my realization of the fact, what I have today, and what I must continue to pursue to ensure my winning place in the Game of Global Challenge in Capitalism. As a Niuean, I am proud for sure, but truly proud to note NZ, and the world has what I need to meet why I and all Niuean have left Niue to pursue. 
Capitalism to seek and work for the greater of Gods believing people, the family, and society, and of course the Dream to Win. Capitalism to own my own paradise anywhere in the world, buy flash toys of life, travel the world, and holiday when ever I wish. Dreams and desires of course, but that's the whole reality of today, and only liars will deny the fact.


Niuean's Stop and think, and notice, all the Villages in Niue has a Church and if Niueans are praying people and if God is real and has heard the Niuean peoples prayers. A wonder why Niuean has the Winning Champions in the blood. Of course, Niuean are well blessed be-on their means, NOTICING some Niueans are well OVER SIZED, from the enjoyments of the abundant s of food.


Adopting a country to establish yourself, a starting foundation towards issue in hand, and never give up until you have what u want. The Spirit that carried the Niueans into battle in the First World War, have paved the way for our generations to Win in our quest.

Educated Niuean's have to make sure they are seeking quality educations and not just getting sub standard education. Education have proven to excel and broaden the Niu Niuean generation, and maintaining their road or prosperity can vigorously supported with Internet based system and strategies.  
Maintaining the road of capitalism also require's the weekly renewal of the Niuean's Spiritual Faith, washing and affirming to the Niuean Inner Spirit, the perfect connection, like petrol to car. Niuean's loosing this perfect alignment and foundation can expect some barriers, but a weekly dose of the renewing of the Spiritual Inner man, assures obstacles can be over turn easily. 
More so if God did open the world of Capitalism for the Niuean people, then we must ad hear to the fact, and maintain a perfect relationship with God, to ensure the on going growth of the God family and all the abundant desired. 
My own positive reflection notice's a strong presentation of the Niuean Champions in arena, such like, the amazing Susana Hukui, with media, Niuean version of Oprah, Che Fu, a musical marvel, the late Fuimana brothers, are just some of the Niu generations taking advantage of the Spirit of Capitalism. Of course many other respectful Niuean's I have not mentioned here, have indeed embraced their blessings are living out their joyful lives.


Some of the more well know name, Dr Colin, John Kaulima, Sgt Major Sani Lakatani, the Natural Niuean Champions, and speaking to Sani, in one of our deep conversation. Sani states, " My Mind is what I used to make sure I get what I want". Rightly so, an ex Vietnam veteran a Sergeant Major responsibility with the NZ Army indeed have accepted his perfect position in the arena of Champions.


Understanding the power that drives Champions, provides a strong foot hold for the Niu Niuean generation to embrace and take charge of their God given gift in the world of Capitalism.

Niu Niueans

Niu Niueans "How Bizarre" reflect on OMC, and the Secrets to their Success. 


Niuean's are very strong in their Spiritual Faith, a powerful foundation to Belief and Dedication. The niu generation Niuean's simply have not fully comprehend the extend of their free will and freedom and to capitalist on the fact. 


OMC, the late Pauly Fuemana perhaps one of the most outstanding to recognize and to utilize the secret of pronouncing exactly his future, with results we treasure as Niueans. 
My own observations have noticed quite a few niu Niuean's starting to emerge to the platform, but in some degree have not fully explode in their quest. Niuean Champions have indeed taken this bold stand to recognize the fact Niuean's a rare breed given the mask Captain Cook proclaim, "Savages"  are quite true to the fact.


Paalagi (exploding sky) has some clear indication Niuean's have been blessed with something very very powerful in their midst, and only fare for Niuean's to take full advantage of this fact. The Maori calls the Paalagi, white man's God, and in fact is true, and Niuean's of course has the Paalagi's most powerful spirit. 

Only two hundred fifty nine square kilometers of coral, and every villages has a Holy Temple in each one, provide a strong indication of Niue's mighty explosion into the niu world of blessings. 
Riding on New Zealand's God Defended Aotearoa mana, also gives Niuean's a very strong base to continue their quest and establish their fore ground for forward base.
Education provides some inspiration and directions, with strong self belief the ultimate essence required to continue and to overcome any barriers, with a strong parental or mentor relationship to ascertain progress and confident. 


Niu Niuean's goals of course to enter into the Global Lucrative Financial Systems, and in turn capitalize on the high income returns, with the natural remembrance of culture and blood line as Niuean's will inject capital into the Niuean Economy. Through tourism and Niuean's visitation to the Island, with purses full of gifts. Undeniably Niuean kindness and value not in question, but my own practices and natural attitude to gifting provides my strong notion and belief in the Niu Niuean's with their millions and billions.   

Vision, inspirations or prophetic touch, Niuean Champions have encounter and enjoyed the luxury of the Niu Niuean's in the new world, and without a doubt, will continue to see Niuean Champions on the podium of Winners.


OMC clearly has the secret to the Niuean Champion with the strong Spirit indeed in our Midst, who can be against us but our self. There is no excuse for Niuean's to be poor, given recent results and of course what I have witness in Niuean wedding's, funerals, and celebration's. Niuean's living in the niu world has all the best possible spirit to be one of the worlds riches nation. 


As matter of fact Niue is one of the Riches nation, given the fact a small proportion of population to land space.

Given what is happening as this blog goes to air, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg successfully listed on the public offering making Mark one of the Riches man alive. Including marrying his long time beauty queen, a day later of Facebook public listing.
